How did I miss this fab version of the SLADE classic, 'Born To Be Wild' by Kim Wilde back in the 90s? Okay, Steppenwolf did it first but SLADE's is the definitive version and Kim's is a glory of its own.
I'm having a bit of a Kim-fest today to celebrate getting tickets to see her at Christmas at one of her few solo live gigs in decades - she's toured on the 80s revival circuit in recent years but these are full-on Kim gigs! And she's just finishing off her Christmas album to be released this winter. Looking forward to that immensely!
